wander around in your BIOS Im pretty sure it will let you set it

Probably will run but not at full speed

If you cut the 4th cable (The PWM cable) it will become voltage controlled.

if the motherboard only supports PWM fans, fan will run at max rpm .(ps make sure that you are cutting the correct one.)
