thoughts on budget build.

Go to solution Solved by Geekazoid,

Is there any way you guuys could help me with this build i am doing for a friend. Could you bring it down to about 450$ -500$ (Canadian). Thx.

Alright, the most I was able to get it down was to $550. If you wanted to reduce it even more you could maybe go with a GTX 750 (non Ti) that has 2GB GDDR5 memory and upgrade it later down the road to a GTX 750 Ti or greater.

Okay, well here's the build configuration:

Get windows from G2A

Also your case already comes with a PSU you can remove the psu you added and use the one that comes with your case for a while

Also change the HDD to this

Go with this to save some money.  Quality drive.  Well rated.

Western Digital IMHO is better, besides, that Seagate drive is the same price as the WD one. ;)

Seagate drives are just fine and btw the Seagate is 3 cents cheaper. LOL

WOW! 3¢ cheaper. That's a huuuuggggeeeee difference. :P LOL

Well we could argue about this all day or we could agree to disagree. I think we should go for the latter. ;)

That's completely OK

Can you think of anything else to bring the price down?

If you have any extra old hard drives you can try to reuse them for you build,  When I first made my build I reused an older 150 gb Seagate until I had some cash for my SSD.
