Binding of Isaac: Rebirth

So I recently got Binding of Issac: Rebirth and I didn't find it all that hard since some of the new starting items seemed to be just as powerful as some endgame items from the origional. That said I still love the game.

 

So I was wondering what do you guys think of the game? and how hard do you find it? am I just getting lucky items?
