New GTX 980

Hey guys,

 

I've just installed my new Gigabyte 980 G1 Gaming and have been playing around with it.

 

 

Just wondering if these seem normal:

 

-Heaven Benchmark 1080p Max Settings Score: 1732

 

-Max temp I've seen so far is 72C, during large BF4 match.

 

 

Have not overclocked it yet.

Temp being 72 is normal... I am unsure of Valley score...

heaven score is right, close to my 980 (max temp i have seen is 84 degrees, ,stress test )

I know it can be intimidating your first time, but it is really not a big deal. Have you downloaded MSI afterburner, or EVGA PrecisionX?

Yep got PrecisionX, done +125Mhz core clock so far with testing in Valley and Heaven. Gonna continue in the morning.

It takes some time to really dial it in but make for a nice performance boost for free
