I am currently working on saving money to buy this computer. I am not really sure if there are better cooling options for the price but I would like opinions on everything, thanks! (BTW I am a huge Razer fan so I am going to stick with the peripherals) I would like to keep a black theme, but I am also fine with (Razer) green. I would like my PSU to be fully modular also. This will be used primarily for gaming. Also, I HATE air coolers for the CPU, I am going for liquid cooling (I need recommendations! 120mm-240mm radiator). Thanks in advance!

Are you sure about the monitor?

Did you pick it because you know what it is and understand what a TN panel is, or did you pick it because it was the highest rated monitor on that site?

two things:

-drop the razer kraken pro's (they have horrible reviews and feel tight and stiff on your head, i once owned a pair)

-get windows from g2a for less

Get different peripherals, kraken pros are undeniably bad headphones, the keyboard doesn't use cherry switches, and the naga is a laser mouse. If you're getting a 144hz monitor getting a laser mouse would be silly

Specs: 4790k | Asus Z-97 Pro Wifi | MX100 512GB SSD | NZXT H440 Plastidipped Black | Dark Rock 3 CPU Cooler | MSI 290x Lightning | EVGA 850 G2 | 3x Noctua Industrial NF-F12's

Bought a powermac G5, expect a mod log sometime in 2015

Corsair is overrated, and Anime is ruined by the people who watch it

The keyboard uses their own switches which are better than the Cherry ones. What is silly about a laser mouse with a 144hz monitor? I don't understand that. I am a noob when it comes to building computers, sorry this is my first time building one.

Yeah, I chose it because of reviews. Is it good? Also what is that TN pane you were talking about? Thanks in advance

Yeaaa, razer switches are just knockoffs of cherry switches.

I'd highly recommend staying away from them if possible.

A laser mouse is by it's definition not particularly precise. They have built in acceleration, and depending on the sensor, not always the best tracking. 144hz monitors are meant for super serious FPS gamers, and a super serious FPS gamer would be held back by a laser mouse.

And razer kraken pro audio is just plain terrible

**CPU** | [intel Core i5-4690K 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor GOOD CHOICE

**CPU Cooler** | [Cooler Master Seidon 120V  Get a hyper 212 instead. Or go big with a proper cooler like a Corsair H105

**Motherboard** | [Asus Z97-P ATX LGA1150 Motherboard A little cheap. ASUS Z97-A is a better board all around. Better sound too.

 [G.Skill Sniper Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1866 Memory GOOD CHOICE

**Storage** | [Crucial MX100 256GB 2.5" Solid State Drive GOOD CHOICE

**Storage** | [Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM  GOOD CHOICE

**Video Card** | [EVGA GeForce GTX 970 4GB Superclocked ACX 2.0 Video Card Gigabyte Windforce G1 OC's better

**Case** | [Phanteks Enthoo Pro ATX Full Tower Case Ugly as hell but excellent layout.

**Power Supply** | [EVGA SuperNOVA NEX 650W 80+ Gold GOOD CHOICE

**Operating System** | [Microsoft Windows 8.1 - 64-bit (OEM) GOOD CHOICE

**Monitor** | [Asus VG248QE 144Hz 24.0" Good for gaming

**Keyboard** | [Razer Blackwidow Ultimate Look at Steelseries, DASKeyboard, Corsair instead

**Headphones** | [Razer Kraken Pro Headset Get REAL headphones like ATHM50's or something. Gaming headphones sound like sheit.

Intel Inside. Overweight guy in his 30's outside.

SeaSonic G 550W 80+ Gold Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply is a better and slightly less expensive psu. It has more than enough capacity for the build.
I prefer IPS panel monitors because they have wider viewing angles and better color reproduction, Asus VN248H-P 23.8" Monitor.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.

TN generally means it has less vibrant colors and poor viewing angles.

IPS has better colors and much better viewing angles.

I don't really care for veiwing angle, I am only using 1 screen. Also, I would like to have a fully modular PSU.

Would IPS be better for gaming? I don't really care for viewing angles, also I am not sure the difference in colors is better.

TN is better for twitch gaming like counter strike where you need information on your screen as fast as possible.

The difference is very little though.

TN can handle high refresh rates and faster response times.

IPS looks prettier with better colour, but slower response time and lower refresh rates.

Replaced the Phanteks Enthoo Pro with the NZXT H440 Designed By Razer.

I'd get the Enthoo Pro over the H440.

H440 isn't well air flow optimized.
