Hello all,

Im planning on upgrading my rig to 32gb ram...

I currently have a Asrock z97 professional and a 4790K..

I want to get 32gb ram and would like a high speed set of ram, preferably 2400mhz...

Color: Black or Red

No more than $350

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Needing 32GB is already something peculiar. Needing high speeds such as 2400Mhz is another thing that also makes me wonder what the hell you need that so much.

I mean, sure, 32GB of RAM might be needed if you do some serious heavy stuff but 2400MHz is not really worth the premium IMO. I'd rather settle with 2133MHz tops which are already expensive.

Just so you know, there's more to RAM than just the speed and number of GB's. Latency is important too.

Here's a decent combo of speed and latency. Just so you know, RAM modules with a higher capacity tend to come with a higher latency, resulting in less system performance than having several "smaller" modules of RAM.

But here's some G.Skill RAM that should do you good.

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.
