Crossfire problem

Go to solution Solved by hahaman152,

I solved it. It was caused by the AMD raptr software as without this crossfire works fine.

Hi

Has anyone else encounter this problem with crossfire and the catalyst control center?

My problem is when i enable crossfire with my 2 r9 280x cards the usage on the second card is idle no matter what game ect (before restarting the PC) . I assumed one of the cards must be broken so i tried them on there own but no problems both showed gpu usage ect. so i then put both back in made sure the crossfire bridge in properly enabled crossfire and restarted. Once i logged in as soon as the catalyst control center stared the PC freezes every time. To unfreeze i have to remove the bridge log in and disable the ccc.exe then restart and that fixes it ive tried different versions of the ccc ive swapped cards round i have 1000w corsair power supply so i don't think im maxing that out. ive got the latest motherboard BIOS. Crossfire used to work before the ccc updated a few versions ago when i was playing games that needed the extra gpu power. I only noticed  it wasn't working when i enabled it for the first time in about 3 months. Any one else had this problem or a solution ?

Thanks Joe

Ignore the games I can't play them as when I turn computer on with crossfire enabled it freezes within ten seconds of logging in. I've worked out its the catalyst control centre that cause the crashes when I log in with crossfire enabled. I can u install it computer works fine but then I can't turn crossfire on I don't know what to do.
