Budget build under/just over 100 AUD

Hey guys,

I'm from Australia and am low on cash, but I want a sweet gaming PC. I am hoping to build it. I was wondering if you guys could put together some parts lists for me and/or tell me what kinda performance I will be getting. I have put together a build here if you guys want to have a look. Peripherals are not included in this price.

I am aiming for around the 1000 AUD mark, not 100 like in the title! (sorry for that typo)

Motherboard - Gigibyte 78LMT-USB3

GPU - Sapphire Radeon R9 270X Boost OC 4GB

RAM - Crucial Sport XT  8GB (2x4GB)

Storage - Segate Barracuda 1TB

CPU - AMD FX-8350 8 Core Black Edition

PSU - EVGA SuperNOVA 750W B2

Case - BitFenix Comrade Black

Anyways I would love it if you guys could help me out.

Thanks,

Geordan

@Whirlpool do you need a monitor/OS? Or do you count those as peripherals.

I count those as peripherals

This is the "no compromises" build - full performance CPU with overclocking, and an SSD for storage, a little over $100. With postage that might add up.

Motherboard: ASRock Z97 PRO4 ATX LGA1150 Motherboard  ($138.00 @ CPL Online)
Memory: Kingston Fury Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1866 Memory  ($95.00 @ CPL Online)
Storage: Sandisk  128GB 2.5" Solid State Drive  ($109.00 @ CPL Online)
Storage: Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive  ($64.00 @ Centre Com)
Video Card: XFX Radeon R9 270X 2GB Double Dissipation Video Card  ($219.00 @ PLE Computers)
Case: BitFenix Comrade ATX Mid Tower Case  ($49.00 @ PCCaseGear)

Switch to something like an i5 4460 to save a bit of money without taking a huge performance loss if you don't care about overclocking. Likewise you could switch to H97. You won't really be able to overclock the more expensive CPU anyway without a third party cooler.

EDIT: Fixed RAM to be 1866Mhz at same price.

Hmmmm... I would go with a bigger PSU though, and an 8320 can't really handle a 290. Also there is very limited airflow in a 200r so the 290 will get quite hot

This is pretty solid for the price. R9 285. 8320 + 990fx mobo. Good case with extra fans for good airflow. Adequate CPU cooler for moderate overclocking. PSU can handle two-way crossfire in the future if that appeals to you. RAM is good enough.
