Hello everyone, so i started this thread ^^ to talk about the future. Any futuristic hardware/material or whatsoever concept you can find outhere and any possible ideas from you that is needed to be revealed! Well obviously we aint getting these soon:

post-144012-0-73712500-1415010400.jpg

And certainly not those in the next 10 years:

post-144012-0-46841000-1415010444.jpg

Perhaps 50 years from now we may see something close to that but it certainly wouldnt be that common... but who knows right? Its just products of imagination and science fiction that we all wish to be true. Well thats it everyone, share whatever you know of the future of computing and any other futuristic hardware linked themes you may know. Thank you. :D

What if one day monitors die and we have tiny projectors sitting on our desk tracking our eye movements and beaming images directly into them?

Cool concept, however, what if your friends wanted to see what you saw on the monitor?

Can't link right now, but like 3 years ago I read about a screen that could be rolled up like a poster. I'll try to edit this with a link later.

Edit: it was a concept back then, seems to be reality now: http://mashable.com/2014/07/11/lg-display-rollable-tv/

i don't want to image quote, so here i won't :P

the first picture of the OP is actually not that hard to realize.. a desk with an monitor bracket isn't that hard to make and that could just be surrounded with wood or metal to cover it all up (like in the picture??)

the touch keyboard/touchpad is actually i bigger version of what smartphones these day have. However in order to not accidentally press other keys i think that would just be a matter of sensor development to make that work.
and the rest would just be a really clean desk build ^^

and the second picture is basicly an imac?
