problems playing higher then 1080P on youtube

i only have adblock and google docs installed as extendtions.

but there are 16 plugins installed including:

 

adobe flash player

quicktimeplayer

widevine media optimizer 

unity player

adobe sockwave player

Try disabling/uninstalling Flash Player and use HTML5 on YouTube

hello forum,

 

when i try to play any youtube video on higher then 1080p the video start stuttering and loses audio sync. In some cases it just wont play and given a black screen.

 

Do you guys know how to fix this problem?

 

i am using google chrome on the following system:

 

windows 7 64-bit.

8 GB vengence ram 1600MHz

AMD FX-8150 4.0 Ghz

MSI R9 280X 

and some storage stuff

Hmm, my connection is a tiny bit worse and my rig is far worse than yours, so those 2 can't be the problem.

Have you tried 4K videos in FireFox?

on firefox the audio is synced a bit better still pretty bad tho. but it is really no option for me to switch browsers since i sync everything with google chrome. (agenda and stuff like that)

Do you use any extensions? I mean which are related to YouTube and might cause problems?

ok, so disabling flash player made the qualtity better and the audio sync is almost on point now.

but i now have the problem that i get an error message then i start some higher then 1080p youtube video's.

the error says: "error loading the video. please try again later"

Yeah, I have this sometimes too, but reloading the page always fixes this.

I'm okay with that, 4K works like a champ for me always :D
