Don't sweat it. That system is gonna kick ass. Very well-balanced build... just make sure you buy it from Newegg, unless Amazon has massive sales...

that rig should be able to play Arma 3 at Ultra with no problem. from what I've seen from benchmarks on Youtube, as long as you're not streaming, you can max that game out with the 760 with little issue.

If you're not fussy about quality, you'll be able to run it on low at well over 100fps.

ehhhh.... not really.

The Pentium isn't hyperthreaded, so if you're doing any multithreaded stuff (like games or Handbrake rendering) the FX will absolutely destroy it, especially if you overclock. It overclocks higher, has twice the Passmark score and a much, MUCH higher Cinebench 10 multithread score (the only cinebench thread type worth a damn - single-threads get you nowhere when editing or streaming). If you're planning on running more than 2 threads, you'll definitely want the 6300. If ever you wanted to start streaming video, the extra cores will help you immensely. even if the Pentium was hyperthreaded, remember, hyperthreading is nice, but it is not as good as having more cores.

That's not to say the Pentium isn't a good part, it's got kick for the dollar. But the fact of the matter is that it was released as a sort of whimsical Christmas Present by Intel for enthusiasts to buy for a pittance so that they could see what could be done with it. It is an experiment. And it WILL bottleneck parts much more easily than the 6300. For a casual gamer with a single mid-tier GPU, it's totally fine, but if you want to really push the frames it's next to useless. If at some point you decided that you wanted to slap in another 760, you would have to take out the Pentium and throw in a much more expensive part. You could put the pentium in another PC for your mom or something, but still, it's about $70 down the drain that you didn't really need to spend.

It's a nice toy, but I try to stay away from them unless people are on a supertight budget. If you're going any higher than that, you can't skimp out.

The 6300 will serve you well.

getting a Pentium though will allow you to upgrade to something like an i7 in the future though, so that is something to keep in mind. The FX platform is just very dated at this point and i have a hard time recommending it.
