I didn't until today but the stuff is magical, removed like 300 infectious programs from the computer I'm fixing and it's actually improving. :o

Here's a link to it.

I tried it and it did not work. Dam assed Avast is still popping up every 1 to 5 seconds telling me that the same fucking virus is still an issue. Guess a complete reinstall of Windows might be the only fix here. Thanx for trying though.

Guess I will just power down my PC for the night and use my Moto G instead and fix the problem tomorrow.

What virus is that? Can you post the screenshot of Avast popping up or the msg?

Let me take a wild guess and say that you have Trovi as your search engine now? If that is the case, it is very easy to get read of.

Try running a boot time scan in Avast.

No I am using FireFox and duckduck go and it seem Avast has taken care of the issue as their is no wonkyness going on with the browser but Avast is still reporting that there are two viruses that are still an issue even though it still says that it has dealt with the issue.

Hmmm thats strange, I downloaded the N64 emulator the other day from the same site you did ( I wanted to play Mario 64 again :D ). I did not get a virus though, instead, when I would opened Firefox Trovi was my search engine and not "Google". I found out that Trovi trys to take over your browser. It took maybe 10 minutes and I had everything back the way it was. Very strange though that we downloaded the same file but two different things happened to us lol.

Here's a screen shot of both Viruses that Avast is reporting.

It looks like adware, check your add/remove programs list for Browsefox and uninstall it. Also check your Firefox add-ons for Browsefox and remove it. Run Malwarebytes and then HitmanPro 3 to try and remove anything else left behind.

There is no Browsefox add on installed. Nothing out the the ordinary is installed in firefox addons.

Seems that the issue has been resolved with the use of various anti malware programs and antivirus software. Avast is reporting that my home network is not secure though so I will have to rectify that issue.

On my laptop, it said the same thing. But when scanning the home network with Avast on my rig, it said it was secure.

If your network is connected through an access point (router) and you have no ports forwarded, your network is essentially secure. The only threat beyond that is who you have inside of your network (don't let little brother hax you).

Unless of course you have no password required to actually get onto the router.
