Power Supply Really Hot, Slow Fan. Could This Be the Cause Of My Power Surges At All?

Hey all,

 

I constantly keep getting power surges through my pc. It keeps crashing saying that asus anti power sruge stopped it causing problems and then it will take me through the BIOS and then i can go back on until it crashes again.

 

I noticed my PSU was getting REALLY hot you could fry an egg on it and the fan isnt spinning fast at all. There is dust in the PSU and i dont know if that is the problem. I remember taking the grid of the fan with a screw driver to try and vacum it up but that didnt work at all.

I wouldn't be surprised at all if your PSU is going bad. What kind is it?

I wouldn't be surprised at all if your PSU is going bad. What kind is it?

Its an aerocool 650 watt psu
