Yup 750W is more than enough

The noise from your PSU is coil whine (if it is high pitched squeak) or a dead fan (if it is making clicking or grinding noises)

If it is the first one, it is not a problem, just annoying. If it is the second, then you will want to replace it before something fails.

A 750W PSU should be plenty for that setup, what is the exact model of the PSU? Also the noise is probably coil whine which is just an annoying sound that some electronics make sometimes in certain situations.

My Current Build:

Intel i5 3570K @ 4.4GHz 1.11V, Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO, Asrock Z77 Extreme4, Corsair Vengeance 8GB 1600MHz, Samsung 840 EVO 250GB, Asus GTX 760 DCII Overclocked, Corsair CX600M

the noise you hear from the PSU is called ''coil whine'' and it won't hurt anything it's just anoying...what PSU is it exactly?

also yes 500W would be plenty for this rig...check my sig i run all that overclocked on a 550W PSU and i have a lot of headroom still my PC is pulling 350W from the wall TOPS and the PSU being 90% effective that means that the PSU only feed about 315W to the machine....

That's a pretty reliable PSU it would be plenty to power pretty much any single GPU system and most dual GPU systems :)

PS: I have the CX 600M and I love it :D
