it maybe redundant, but this one is actually worthwhile. cheap like chromecast, but more powerful. i just hope the remote isn't like the apple TV one...that thing is awful

They're advertising the hardware spec like it matters? All it needs to do is run the little Netflix players etc and thats all. The increased storage for apps is nice but I have to wonder if there is even a market for that? As I albeit in my use case only use 2-3 Chromecast applications. Maybe for games and such who knows, I'd imagine its going to have zero chance of taking away existing Chromecast users, maybe they can hit a larger user base than Google can I guess we'll see.

It is pretty cheap though if you're a prime member. I already have a Chromecast but I pre-ordered the nexus player and can't wait to get my hands on it.  :D

Nothing really new here. I've had my Ouya for quite some time and not a single product has really grabbed my interest after. For 39$ Amazon's really looking for the big sale this time around.
