in all seriousness, we cant accuratly tell you what option without knowing uses, budget, location, desire, and your personal prefrence.

the only ones on there i can truly suggest are the deathstalkers because they are the best chicklet keyboards, and chicklet beats membrane.

otherwise i suggest the corsair k70 or k95 for full kbs w/ a large budget.

and coolermaster quickfires mor cheaper budgets and tkl kbs

Ah thanks for all of your fast replies, I would like to find a keyboard that is silent and will not disturb others in the room as my current keyboard is very noisy even if i press it softly. I would also like to be able to have some macro keys on the keyboard and a good software to program those macro keys. And not too pricey as well.

none of those are mechanical, but cost just as much,

corsair k95 rgb mx browns

from those choices, the k70.

The k95 and k70 are mechanical keyboards which i heard that mechanical keyboards are very noisy but I would like to have a quiet keyboard :) Thanks anyway :D

you need to educate yourself a bit more on keyboards before you even think about buying one.

Please kindly tell me what was wrong with my statement instead of asking me to educate myself which i dun even know what went wrong lol. I tried to educate myself by going to google and see how mechanical keyboards are and apparently I was looking at the wrong place if you said I am wrong.

look up different key switches, theyre meant for different things... one of them being sound.

Tbh I would get a g710+. Its a mechanical brown switch with dampening o rings which reduce the sound if you bottom out the key. Also has macro keys and a nice white backlight.

That costs alot more than the corsair or razer ones and I am tight on budget lol. Thanks anyway :D

Hmm I just did. A website compared the blues, blacks and browns switches and some membrane keyboards but still the membrane is the softest which i prefer. Thanks anyway :D

Maybe a mech keyboard with red switches and install extra o-rings? Should give no sound at all then.

I've got a G710+ and it still makes a bit of sound but it isn't that much louder than my old G110 or my replacement keyboard which I used for quite a while (some old standard Logitech keyboard).

Hey guys, I dun wan a mech keyboard as they all seem to be very expensive. Thanks for all your replies though. :)

the razer deathstalker is actually a pretty good choice i enjoyed it when i used it. only issue is synapse software....it blows. but other than that i really like typing on chicklet keys for some reason. But i love my mx blues too much

OK so you don't want mech keyboard (You should said this earlier , Look how many angry people you summon here with that title)

I assume since you are in a budget, and want a silent keyboard your argument to have a membrane keyboard is correct

Now which membrane keyboard you should choose is depend on your budget and preferences,

nevertheless I still have no idea why you want razer keyboard and doesn't want mech keyboard since both of them are equally expensive

btw where ar you from? I also live in SEA I can recommend some good places to buy stuff
