Update mobo driver/bios through usb

Yes. However most boards come with a newish BIOS/UEFI pre-loaded... FX has been out for a few years now.

 

If not you'll need a CPU supported by the first release BIOS (I'd go Sempron 145 they're cheap) and get the BIOS file from the Manunfacturer website. Pop on a USB and use their flash utility (e.g. EZFlash).
