I'm about to build a pc and i'm not too sure if two gigabyte 970 g1 gaming editions in two way sli will be enough to drive 3 1440p monitors whilst still getting around 45 fps on games like crysis 3.

Not really. Unless you lower a fair number of settings.

why are you doing surround 1440p?
you obviously cant afford the 3 980s needed to run it at 60fps high settings.

I did pretty well with 2 780s and my 3 screens, as long as AA was off. If that is on, your performance will go down the tubes. Now I have 3 980s and havent even tried.

I haven't even enabled surround since I upgraded. Been just gaming on one. I have a 4k screen on the way to replace my middle so it won't even be an option in a couple of days.

Ah ok, I'm looking at the 3 1440p for surround gaming so I'm just trying to get the right pc spec for it
