Hi all,

I was wondering if there is a simple way or video tutorial that anyone knows of to transfer all of the data (photos, videos, applications, documents, etc.) from one pc to another. Thanks!

Back up to an external drive and copy it across

Transfer it over the network

Use ghost software to clone the drive and copy the data cross

I guess it depends how you want to do it

You could hook both drives up to the same pc then drag everything from drive A to B. You could also use cloning software (Samsung magician offers it I believe) to just clone everything from one drive to the other

You can get an ethernet cable that allows for file transfer between two computers.

Though it'd be more efficient to just put the HDD from one PC into the other and just move all the data to the required drive.

I just wanna ask you, mate, of one was cloning a drive. What would you do with all the old graphics drivers, CPU drivers and similar drivers that were from the old PC. Wouldn't they cause conflict? This has been one thing that I've been curious about.

@ShadowCaptain

They shouldnt effect anything from previous experience, I would advice using a driver cleaner before or after transfering

Generally I prefer manually transferring data, that way you can organise it as you move it
