I have fond memories back to the Geforce 256 - Geforce 2 days when Nvidia single handedly destroyed every single competitor other than ATi.

Damn ATi were the only other brand clever enough to go straight into the GPU / TNL engine route and made strongly competitive cards, all the rest just died horribly.

Linus is my fetish.

In my opinion it is really your decision on which brand is better. buy what you want to buy. so why go and blab about it on these forums and filling up linus's samsung pro's.

Its when dragons have so much sex that the cpu cant handle it

I don't know how it was in the past, but looking at current situation, NVIDIA got so much features that amd looks like an ant comparing to great NVIDIA.

Look up GeForce SDR and Geforce 2 reviews.

Before the Geforce line, there were around 5+ graphics card companies. By the end of the GeForce 2 lineup, only Nvidia and ATi remained, ATi being the only company that could keep up and compete with Nvidias sudden dominance.

Linus is my fetish.
