Corsair 900D Question

BCMods

Absolutely love everything about this case and will definitely be getting one on release :)

One thing i've seen is the lack of the bottom plate that was in the 800D (covers the PSU). Is this simply removeable and hasn't yet been shown or are they doing away with it completely?

Hopefully they haven't got rid of it as it'll mean i'll have to make my own :p

I believe it would be removable, but we will just have to wait till its released to the public. And if it doesn't"t have it good luck with your custom plate ;)

EDIT - Just had a quick look at Linus's video about it and it looks to have a ridge to set something on. (I don't know it this will be there in the final product, because it is a prototype)

The plate is one of the reasons that I love my 800D so much. Things just look so tidy.

THIS! :D

Even if it doesn't come with one, i can't see it being too hard to make one...

I certainly can`t wait for this case as well. Though, if price wasn`t an issue, I would get a STH10. It`s a tower design like more consumer cases(not a cube like most Caselab cases) and can support a lot more radiators for watercooling. Still, for $350, I don`t think you can get any better. Some say "Ouhhh cosmos ii!". I always disagree due to the fact that you don't get much for the money. No window, and not enough room for thick radiators. Can't wait to see the review from Linus.

Not a fan of the Cosmos series either...

Too much plastic and the lack of a nice big window puts me off completely.

Only negative thing I see about the 900D, is you may need a forklift to move it around.

I prefer my 800D

the isolated cooling zones help make things more tidy, and direct airflow much better

also, IT HAS NO FRONT INTAKE = ]

which means less noise coming right at you

I like my front panel seamless

and from what I can tell, the 800D seems much more 'closed' and sound isolating then the 900D, which has a shit ton of air intakes and exhausts

Do anyone have a clue as to when the 900D is supposed to be released? There's one webshop I have seen that has an estimated date of April 4th, but I dunno if that's a realistic date or not.
