so guys im looking to to an audio option for my new rig and im thinking a music amp? or possibly make my own custom speakers? are amps any good for music of a pc.

Mostly its a bad idea unless youre an audio engineer... They turn out to be pile of garbage....

It is indeed very difficult to design a multi way speaker, but there are a lot of good designs out there. 

If you want to start out with DIY audio, building an existing design is a good way to start.

But be prepared to spend a lot of time, money and effort on it. Remember: hard work pays of :)
