You sure you don't want a OnePlus One? Cheaper and more powerful with a Snapdragon 805 quad core and 3gb of ram.

If I had the choice, I would go for the G3. Screen size is great for me. It's a mater of preference though.

Definitely the Xperia Z3. If the Compact is available I'd suggest that since it's not a huge phablet-class phone in size yet still has identical specs to the full size Z3

Desktop: Intel Core i5 2380P (2400 w/o iGPU), MSI H61, 8GB RAM, 256GB SP610, 500GB WD Blue, HIS R9 280, Antec TruePower Classic 550W, Inwin MANA 134, QNIX QX2710, CM QuickFire Rapid, Logitech G402

Laptop: Toshiba Satellite L40D, AMD A6-6310, 6GB RAM, 500GB HDD, Radeon R4 Graphics, 14" 1366x768

Phone: iPhone 6 Space Gray 64GB, T-Mobile $60/mo 3GB plan

The OnePlus One is actually really good for the money, only 349USD (idk how many gbp), OFF CONTRACT. No contract at all=any carrier. It's a bit hard to get one, due to the invite system. but there is a preorder system rolling out soon.

It is so not overhype trash. It's pretty much the best phone on the market.

IMO the G3 is overhyped. The performance loss of having to run 1440p over 1080p isn't worth it for the quality difference (which is barely any to most people). Also LG hasn't said a single thing about Android updates for the G3, and the Z3 is newer. Us Americans don't even have mainstream access to it yet.

It is. I have one and it's phenomenal. Silky smooth, and CyanogenMod 11 just makes it better.

yeah that's true it looks sort of ugly but it is close to the Z3 but the Z3 will run faster because they both have a snapdragon 801 2.5GHz Quad core processor in them.

Yeah, it's just like what you see in PC benchmarks with 1440p and 1080p. It's a noticeable loss in performance but unlike a PC monitor there isn't too much of a perceivable difference to your eyes on a 5.5" screen.

I'd recommend the HTC One M8 over both the G3/Z3 (I loove mine) but the original One and One max are previous generation models so I wouldn't recommend it.

But the One Mini 2 sadly is only a Snapdragon 400, which puts it on the Moto G's level in terms of performance. The Z3 Compact on the other hand features identical specs (aside from battery) to the full size Z3, including that badass flagship-level Snapdragon 801.

It really depends on what you are looking for in a phone (display quality, battery life, camera quality).

I have the HTC One and I love it. Build quality is outstanding, performance is great (and I game a lot), display is great, battery life is solid.
