ok so now I think its the other one that im trying to connect to, the normal one seems to be working fine, it has a way to check online (just like a router) so im just going to buy a new one

check your breakers are all looking normal

My ZYXL powerline etherlinet adapter was working just fine until the 2 units lost connection to each other, they still power up like normal they just wont connect! They are plugged directly into the wall, the used to work just fine and now they don't.

 

Most adapters should have a way to repair them. Check the manual (try and find one on their website), if not contact customer support.

 

I had to do a similar thing with my adapters although it was my fault for screwing up the pairing myself (I added two adapters to an existing network and screwed up the pairing...)

Did you try resetting them and reconnecting?
