Crysis 3 low fps

Hi all, so I downloaded Crysis 3, but I am getting unplayable framerates. I know this is a demanding game, but I have an i7 4790k, 16gb of ram, and 2 gtx 980s in sli. I play on a single 1440p monitor, and have all the game settings maxed out with MSAA at 4x. At this setup, I only get around 20fps. Can someone help me?

First try to lower your settings. Then if you have the same fps. You can try using Razer Game Booster. Or shut down unnecessary background programs. And make sure you have good cooling for your CPU. Cuz if CPU have high temps it usually hiccups (ofc if you have too high temp your cpu will shut down).

First, just make sure that you have the game settings correct and that two cards are enabled. If they are I would try running it with a single card. Turn one off. See if that changes things.

Make sure the game is patched and drivers are up to date.
