Case "underglow"

So I was thinking about some simple LEDs under my case to give it a bit of a glow (similar to that in the gif, but just the bottom). Any ideas? I was thinking about one of those NZXT PCI bracket things with the braided cables, but I don't know if there is one long enough to go JUST around the sides and front of my 300R. And I was thinking white DIMMABLE LEDs, BTW.

I would get some LED straps from Amazon. They are cheap and can be use everywhere in the house.

Antec has some USB powered LED light strips for like $10 USD

Please do not get the NZXT light strip. They are a hassle to get in the right place and the LEDs don't really have a direction, plus the cable is quite wide and not very easy to hide.

I would suggest more strip type LEDs rather than the braided cables.

I have the blue version, and if you get the 2 meter version, it will be perfect (nzxt lights)

The NZXT strips (up to 60cm in length) would work well with the dimming, I would drill a hole in the bottom of the case to not have to route it behind the case. Maybe use electrical tape to hold it on.

Check on ebay you can have led strip for 2$...PC Molex led strip for 3$...sent from china, free shipping...will usually take about 2-3 weeks to hit your door.

Quality is the same as you will get from PC shops.

I used to have 2x 30cm cold cathodes under my old PC.

Personally, it gave off a much better glow than my NZXT LED strand.

Cold cathodes would be too big in my case (the way it would be sitting).

This is a really cool idea, not that my pc needs more lights but ill probably end up looking into this, in my experience the NZXT lights have been fine for inside my case although the sticky stuff on the back wasn't very good so I ended up cable tying them in place a bit.
