Air pressure

Go to solution Solved by BaSkA,

Right now, you have a slightly negative pressure as you have 2 intakes and 3 exhausts, which is not bad. However, as you have a spare fan, I would put that 6th fan as an intake on the frontmost top spot to cool down your HDD cages because, if you put it as a bottom intake, it might disturb the airflow to the GPU area. So you'll have a slightly positive pressure (the exhaust rad fans are obstructed so the CFM is lower) which is pretty good.

As I've seen Linus' AFAP video about positive and negative air pressure in PC cases I have a question.

The case is a Phanteks Enthoo Pro, in the front are 2 Corsair AS AP 120mm, at the top the two APs 120mm of the radiator, an AF 120mm at the back and I have a 4th on as either an outtake at the top or as an intake at the bottom. He said that when there are too many fans pulling air out they just block each other as it is the same when all are intake. So the question: Should I use the 4th fan as a intake, then I have 3 intakes and 3 outtakes, or as an outtake?

Use the to SPs on it as outtakes. 2 SPs in the front as intakes, the 2 Sps from the H100i as exhausts at the top, an AF as intake at the top( the one whos closest to the front) and an AF at the back as exhaust. Than you have 2 SPs as intake and 2 as exhaust and 1 AF as intake and 1 as exhaust

Theyr fans are called Corsair Air Series and there are 2 kinds of them, there is the Air Flow (AF) optimized one and the Static Pressure (SP). Linus has made a review of them and when you search for Corsair Air Series, his video is nearly at the top
