Hello everybody!

Today I have a little problem/discussion to share!

I am getting a new PC and I don't know what OS to choose.

I am now running Windows 7.

I have already kind a ran out of budget and I'm not even sure I can pay the shipping and customs!

Buying a Windows 8 all do is again a problem. People saying it's over rated and it+s expensive and is it really that good? But buying a Windows 7 is? no... more like... not worth it!

Windows 7 is out dated and stuff, u kno...

Windows 10 all do is experimental and buggy and can cause serious problems, but at least it's free... if you can keep it!...??

Choosing another OS is again uncomfortable and bad. There are problems like compatibility issues and not performing as great and completely different interfaces and stuff... Not sure how it would perform in gaming, a huge thing for me an the main reason I'm getting a new PC!

Is the new Windows 10 really so buggy or is it safe to use, coz I don't think so... I would like to have it, but I don't want my files to disappear or causing my PC to just crash or even mess up the system files, resulting in system and computer malfunction??!? I don't mind minor glitches like unable to change task-bar colour or something completely irrelevant, but serious things like file corruption and well crashes are unpleasant, but not really a serious problem, right?

Is there a (legit) way of getting Windows 8 cheaper, like for example student offers or, I don't know... something?!

I am really confused and split here. Windows 7 is in general kinda outdated. Windows 10 is all do experimental still and can cause many bugs, glitches and other problems. But buying a new OS, like Windows 8? Expensive and not sure it's worth it!

Using a developer preview as a main OS is stupid. It's unreliable and can even corrupt your data.

I'll say Windows 8 is a good choice, but you can stick with a cracked version of 7 (err).

Windows 10 is estimated to be released around this year so use your judgement skills.

There is always Linux and Ubuntu btw.

I'm still using Win7 in every pc and I haven't found a software that I can't use on it.

I would just use Win7 until the final release of Win10 comes out.

But crack OS can be very buggy and shit, so...

I think I'm getting the student deal Windows 8.1 for now and in about a year will see what's up with windows 10.

there is nothing wrong with windows 7, its still a solid os that works great and honestly doesnt have any major issues. do not use win10 as your primary os, thats just asking for trouble.  i'd recommend getting a student discount on win8.

There's no release date, but it won't be the start of next year, it will be late next year

It is not a waste because Windows 10 is coming out, I quote: "later in the year 2015". So.. ye. It's not a waste, besides there might be a free upgrade option to Windows 10, I heard!
