I'm planing on buying a 970 (that is when they get back in stock), I would like to know what you like about your card and what brand it is.

my friend has the strix and the qc is great and it looks great i have a gigabyte 780 and the cooler is awesome

970 is a great card ... That said since they are not in stock may I introduce you to an R9 290 as they are only going for $299 if you live in the States.

To be perfectly honest and some people might completely disagree, but the 970/980 make the most sense to buy right now. Dx12, MFAA, price:performance is insane. Until AMD brings a DX12 card out with similar price points to performance, I see zero reason to buy an AMD card right now

Honestly buy the time DX12 becomes a thing you are going to have to upgrade the 970.

Welcome to the club i am going to order mine after in comes in stock and after 14 days shipping.......and i am going to sell my ccurrentGPU

 

so its going to a special experience,most probably going to watch anime and movies  :P until I receive that beautiful OWL

My Strix is pretty awesome. Can't hear it in my case at all when playing Battlefield 4 on Ultra + 4X AA. I haven't gotten around to overclocking it yet, though. 

This how I feel after you said that bf4 is my main game!
