Best Wireless headset on the market ? Corsair H2100 ?

prochaos

Im looking for a wireless headset and i noticed corsair just came out with their new gaming H2100 headset a couple weeks ago, is the Corsair gaming CG-H2100 7.1 Dolby wireless headset the best on the market at the moment within its price bracket, its £100, there doesnt seem to be any reviews for it yet apart from the 3 attached to the link below which seem to make it promising.

Edit: You will want to go with a wired headset if you want very good mic quality and very little problems overall you will want to go with a wired headset.

Linus used to endorse the wireless Corsair headsets .

Like others have said before, it's just the old corsair 2100 in different colors and logos. I owned the 2100 version for a little while and I had a lot of technical issues like hissing and one side was missing a lot of bass. I looked at the forum and there were a ton of people having similar issues with the 2100. You might get lucky and get a good headset unlike me, but this is just a note before you dive right in.

EDIT: Also im not sure if they fixed the issues with the 2100H, might be worth a try if you really want the headset.

hmm theres doesnt seem to be much on the h2100, i know people are comparing it to a mirror of the 2100 but surely it must be an updated better version, what other choices are there within the price range, id assume the more recent the headset the more updated it is and a 7.1 would be nice/

It's literally the same exact headset with new branding.

That's it.

Specs: 4790k | Asus Z-97 Pro Wifi | MX100 512GB SSD | NZXT H440 Plastidipped Black | Dark Rock 3 CPU Cooler | MSI 290x Lightning | EVGA 850 G2 | 3x Noctua Industrial NF-F12's

Bought a powermac G5, expect a mod log sometime in 2015

Corsair is overrated, and Anime is ruined by the people who watch it
