Corsair HS30/40 headset?

Hey guys, my logitech is about to die, and at my local PC shop, they have the Corsair HS30/40 (not sure which one specifically) but anyway, are they both good, just in case it's one or the other? Both support 7.1 audio? Reliable?

The hs30 has only 3 eggs on newegg, so it might not be good...
