Ok first try reseting the cmos, and if that doesn't work try unplugging the connecters from the motherboard and reconnecting them. Don't try booting it up without the ram installed.

Well u need a PC speaker connected to the internal PC speaker header near where the case connects its switches to the board,

that way you wil get the beep code telling you whats wrong,

anyway - taking ram out completely would fail a boot

having one stick of ram and having it in any slot other than slot A1 it will probably fail to boot,

anyway Id check the cables form the case to the motherboard make sure you have them connected right,

take the board out and make sure all your standoffs are aligned if not you may be earthing,

do you have the CPU fan connected to the CPU fan header? if not do that it might be thinking there is no CPU fan and simply dumping you out.

Make sure you have your drive connected to sata 1 - 2 - 3 CD HDD1 HDD2

Do you have the 4 / 8 pin ATX connector plugged in?

take everything out -
Build it on the bench using the motherboard box as a base. and check

I have a speaker connected and it is silent.

The RAM is in the 1st slot nearest the cpu

the cables are connected right the 8 pin is in the 8 pin slot, the 20+4 pin is in the 20+4 pin slot, sata are disconnected for now( i tried with everything connected already)

cpu fan is connected

i have already tried taking out the mb and powering it. the result was the same so its not the stands or case grounding the board.

I think I just have a faulty MB
