Yes I can still game on my 560 Ti, and it wouldn't be the end if the world to wait another year but...

I'd really like a 970, plus then I could do game streaming to my Shield. What I need is a solid argument to present to my wife to justify the upgrade. Please help!

GTX 970 would pretty much my first recommendation, but we've heard rumors about the GTX 960, so, I would wait a bit more, to see what it will be like. If it's not gonna be too good of a card, then, the GTX 970, should be great!

Jesus, if its your money tell her to do one and just buy whatever you want. Its not like you are buying a car or anything its only a few hundred. Tell her that games are going to stop supporting 5xx series cards in the next 3 months ( a white lie never hurt anyone)
