Heyya!

Today, I want to know how the following is possible;

- I would like to set up a way, in which I am speaking on TS3, while streaming, and it is not heard in the stream

- I would still like to hear me and my friends on TS3, without only this getting onto the stream

How is this possible? I didnt find anything related to this so far.

I'm streaming every day, many AAA games, to entertain people and to get a hang of games that others are unable to play or want to see before they buy.

We need to know your current setup in terms of software, if you have any external recording hardware, and how your microphone is connected.

What program are you planning on using to stream?

Well, I use OBS for streaming. I connect my headphones using the back IO ports, using the pink and green ones :P

I have no recording hardware, it is just basic streaming to Twitch. Game Capture, and get on with it. I seen methods, but they seemed too complicated. I still want to chat on TS3, hear my mates, but when they watch my stream, they hear themselves back, etc. I want to REMOVE this.

Set different push-to-talk buttons in TS and OBS; for example, Mouse Button 4 (forward) to talk in TS3 and Mouse Button 5 (back) to talk in OBS/Stream. That is the simple solution.

If you want TS to not be heard in the stream you have to have two different output devices (on-board with back and front jacks as different devices, or adding in a sound card (internal or external)). You then set OBS to only capture the device that plays the game sounds while TS is being routed to another device so OBS cannot capture it. This would mean a setup like speakers playing game sounds and headphones playing TeamSpeak.

To get your voice only in stream and TS3 is easy part. Set TS3 to push-to-talk and use only it when talking to TS3. Set another key for muting mic in OBS. Mute mic everytime you don't want your voice to get into stream.

Excluding audio from TS3 is sligthly harder task but still possible, free. You have to config virtual audio setup. I've done same with VB-Audio Cable http://vb-audio.pagesperso-orange.fr/Cable/index.htm . You need to set TS3 to output into CABLE Input and set that as your default speaker device. Then set your normal speakers to listen that device. Thats about it. You can leave OBS to use normal audio devices since its only TS3 you want to take off.
