If you were going to battle the elite 4 + 1, who would you have in your party?

 

This means you don't have to have HM slaves in your set.

 

Pokemon can be from any gen.

 

Mine would be:

  • Alakazam

  • Lapras
  • Arcanine

Look at it's stats.

Highest base defense & Sp.Defence, use toxic with him and your opponent is done.

If you'll be facing steel type, then give it a quick claw, and it has an attack that reverses it's defence with attack, and it will one-hit everything.

haha true.... you're a smart battler...I see that shuckle can learn 'rest' as well so it's basically unstoppable. (would be better if it knew 'recover')

haha true.... you're a smart battler...I see that shuckle can learn 'rest' as well so it's basically unstoppable. (would be better if it knew 'recover')

well, if you know you're not going up against a steel type, switch the quick claw out for a berry that cures sleep... *boom* full hp :D

Fighting Elite 4 + 1 is boring with high-tier Pokemon

 

I would make a team of 6 mid / lower-mid Pokemon to fight them.

Last time I played I used this team:

Blastoise

Pidgeot

Raichu

Arcanine

Kadabra

Dragonite

 

Not really my favorite team, or the best team you can use by any stretch of the imagination, but it's fairly solid and easy to obtain so I usually end up with something similar (swap Blastoise for Gyarados, Arcanine for Charizard or Raichu for Venusaur, depending on which my starter is).

I still use Gen 1 no matter how much they suck because even though I've played all the others I've never grown to the new pokes. I also don't use legendaries because that's the rules my friends and I play with lol
