You can only change your name if you have a valid reason as to why, and you need to contact a mod to do so. At least that was the case last time I remember someone asking to do this.

Ask a mod, but you need a valid reason to change it (like it has your name or email in it or something).

I just asked a moderator and he said that names can only be changed if someone has personal information in it.
