Whose ready for 2k15?

This year 2k really considered us PC gamers. The past 2k game looked vastly better on the next gen consoles than it did on PC. This year, we're getting a real PC version. Anyone else preorder the game or planning on buying it soon? Trying to get a squad together for mypark.

Eww sports.

 

If less PC gamers thought like this I'd have zero reason to buy a next gen console. Because we don't get games like Madden or NHL I still need to buy consoles just for them. At least we get 2k and fifa.

Fair enough, everyone has their opinions. I figured it was a long shot to find people to play with on here but its worth a shot. Mypark basically requires you make a team unless you want to try and call next and play pick up games that way.

Would really like The Show to be on PC too so I don't have to buy a PS4. But I'm not holding my breath as it's made my a Sony game studio :P

That too but its more understandable because its Sony. If more PC gamers showed an interest in Madden we'd get Madden. Same with NHL. We get Fifa and that's EA too.

I'm a big sports fan, but not a big fan of sports games. They are never done quite right.

I've always hated Madden as the passing offense was always too easy when you had a decent quarterback, and the zone defense was useless coupled with 10x worse graphics than other EA games. I wish EA continued making cricket.

 

I really want NHL though, but most sports games feel strange without a controller/joypad etc.

Thats why you can use a controller on them. 

 

Actually, sports games are some of the only games that allow multiplayer on PC on the same monitor/game without lan. On 2k14 and fifa my whole suite can connect controllers to my PC and play multiplayer on my monitor. 

 

We go to UCONN so its always a fight on who gets to play as the Huskies on the NCAA mod for 2k.

I find the sports games to be dull and usually behind on everything.

And most of them have animations that are broken, don't work properly, don't look right, do not make sense or don't transition from the last smoothly. 

But whatever floats your boat.

Im in another country now with my ancient laptop. Ill be going home and assembling my gaming rig on november 30. All parts are bought and waiting for me.just need to assemble lol

 

Ah makes sense. Shame you won't have a headstart. Everyone playing my park will probably be 80-90 overall with signature badges by then so you'll have a hard time finding teams that want you in their squad haha.

I'm hyped, preordered months ago. Pre-load took me 35mins but silly regional releases mean I won't be hitting the court til Friday. 

 

Thats a shame =( Ronnie2k just confirmed that the game will be unlocked at 12am EST so I'll be loading up the game in a bit over six hours!

Yeah I'm pretty devastated tbh, I play at weird times (for EU) though so if you want to add me we can squad up when I eventually get on, I've made a 2K section of my friends list ready for it. If you do PM me your Steam ID, I rather not just post here :)

 

EDIT: Can you update the thread when you've played a bit let me know how you feel it compares to 2k14?

Will do. I'm gonna play it literally all night and I'll update this thread with a mini comparison. From what I've seen of gameplay videos, its 2k14 on freaking steroids. Next gen!

I'll probably be getting it, but on PS4 though. . . Now before you say "Well PC is better" I know, it's just, if I don't get it on PS4 then I'll never use my PS4 . . . Only other game I have on ps4 is 2K14 lol

Hey sorry this took so long but I've been playing the game nonstop since it came out. 

 

To say this game is an improvement over 2k14 is an understatement. The game is better in literally every way possible. 

 

The graphics are insanely good. Its the best looking sports game that's ever come out. The players look like themselves, almost shockingly so. I go to UCONN and had had several classes with Shabazz Napier and was very happy to see that Shabazz looks JUST LIKE HIMSELF. Like I could take a picture of him and a screenshot of the game and have trouble deciphering which was real. The graphics are that good. 

 

The physics in the game are superb. Jerseys move with the motion of the players as does the hair. The lights from the arena cross over the court and that subtle smokey atmosphere is just superbly created. The game boasts that it added over a thousand new animations and it's clear when you play. Contact between players is real and you feel the pain of the player when they hit the ground hard. I saw Derrick Rose in particular get hit while going up for a layup and landed on the ground and slammed his head onto the court. It was gruesome. 

 

Attributes are well done and with the new badge system every star player feels different. Tim Duncan plays like Tim Duncan, Kevin Durant plays like Kevin Durant, Stephen Curry plays like Stephen Curry. Gone are the days where Rose and Westbrook are identical feeling. Rebounding has been vastly improved. You'll see centers like Dwight Howard destroying point guards in crashing the boards this time around. 

 

And the new freelance offenses are incredible. Look at this video and you'll see why. 

 

I'm running the game at 2560x1440 maxed out beautifully with no troubles or hiccups in frame rate. The servers were an issue for the first few days, but now they are stable. There really are no other complaints. Everything I had complaining about last year has been addressed.

i planning to get WWE 2K15 If they lauch on PC Cause the graphics is Sick
