remington 870 question extractor question?

achillesviper

Edit: Lol that is a Razor sticker on my 870, because reasons. didn't know where else to put it, and sticking it on the cheap ass pistol grip aftermarket stock I bought for it seems like an ok idea. Also, that is a green dot laser on the side of my AR. And the savage .308 didn't come with a scope, I need to get one for it.

correct place for a sticker is the trash not a gun lol

looks nice what is the light on the ar?

My IDPA and IPSC gun. XDm 5.25 9mm

Hey, it's my old pistol's little brother! I used to have the XDm .40 cal with a stainless slide and a 19rnd extended mag (which I had to mod to make it fit in a way that would work right, it would often move up and down inside the mag well, had to add some jb weld to the sides of it to make it sit correctly so it would feed.

oh i know. mine was converted to a mag from the clip and it was such a pain in the arse. they wouldnt seat and if it would seat, sometimes a round would point down a little to much then jam everything, breaking the casing wasting the round, and making you have to remove the mag and fight the re seat.

That is exactly why I sold my SKS for money to get an AR.

Green dot laser, best laser there is. RIDICULOUSLY brighter than red dot, you can see it at 50 feet in direct sunlight. And it seemed like a good idea at the time, I don't know why lol. I'd get a new stock if Hogue made a buttstock with shoulder pad for the 870, that's a hogue foregrip for it as well, totally worth the price, the grip is phenominal

I've thought about it, but have never made it past the thinking stage.

Italian made Beretta 92FS Inox. Very few of the 92's that come out of Italy are Inox. It took some digging to get my hands on one.

his slam fired and ran out the ammo in the gun the last time he took it out and that was with the return spring mod on the firing pin. seems they are known for this and maybe because the ammo they are chambered for isn't really in spec of what is now sold

Wow a 19rnd .40 mag must have suck out about an inch, right?

This one has been very reliable, even with the Powder River Precision match trigger. Which I expected more problems after I did that, non of really come up.

A Rare glimpse into my arsenal, not everything I have, but I'd never show everything :P

yjYbxHg.jpg

My AR (a Windham Weaponry AR) with it's home made parachute cord sling. (it's all 1 piece, about 120 feet of cord)

My Remington 870 with it's 5 shot extension tube and glue on fiber sights.

My Savage .308, which was a steal at it's price, less than the basic remington 700, with the optional extras of a remington 700 that costs about 1200-1300

Is that a thread cap on the Savage? You better be waiting on some paperwork from the ATF...  ;)

yea

I think its the prettiest handgun I own. Its big and heavy, but quite the looker. A 93r would certainly be an entertaining gun, although I imagine it would be quite the handful.

Looks good! I like the  extended mag tube.

How do you like the pistol grip? I know some people hate shotguns with pistol grips.

i really like it since it actually has a stock, with the 15-22, the xD, and the 870 all having a relatively similar grip its easy to go from one to another. now my step brother has a mossberg 500 with the "terminator" grip as he calls it, and i HATE that..

About 2 inches actually, but as big as that gun was, it was worth it to have 20 rounds of .40 in waiting (that's a lot of lead lol)

You sir, have a very good eye. I am not waiting on any ATF paper work for both financial reasons, and security reasons, not about to go through the paperwork for an expensive ass .308 supressor, for a rifle that I don't have a decent scope on. Not to mention that I don't want my name in the ATF's database (even though it likely already is)

I like it, makes mitigating the recoil from heavy rounds much easier, plus the stock has a like, inch and a half thick rubber pad, shoots like a dream. I think the mag tube is nice, despite having had to drill out the divits in the original mag tube that are put there to prevent you from putting on a mag tube extension (it prevents the carried of the mag tube from moving past the end of the original mag tube, but all you have to do is drill it out and file off the burrs).

btw check out this BA pen

I'd pay 25 bucks for that pen.

I'm surprised no one asked about the parachute cord sling on my AR.

Made it. No one sells them to my knowledge, took me 1 day of weaving it. there are a ton of guides on youtube for it. I need to make another one for my savage but I haven't had the money to buy the cord for it (lol that's how broke I am)

I've not seen a lot of people make them, was just pointing it out incase anyone was curious. I think it's one of the best prepper things you can do for any gun.
