Just some advice?

Hey Guys,

 

Im looking for a new gfx card. And i'm just looking for some advice, as there are so many on the market and i don't know where to look.

I looking for a high-end card. 

My budget is around the 450 euro's.

 

Set up:

 

I5 3570K

Z77-G45

 

Old gfx card is HD Radeon 69xx (not sure) Twin frozer 3 OC edition.....

 

I now got a Iiyama Prolite e2407HDSD
And a Medion 20431

 

Just playing on 1920 x 1080

 

All suggestions are welcome!

 

If u need any more info just aks!

budget of 450 what? USD, GBP, AUD? You could check a GTX 980, but as other suggested a 970 is very good and I recommend this. A 980 may be a bit more than your budget.. You want to look at them two pretty much anyways. You could also specify which monitor(s) you are going to be using, which will help us precisely suggest which card to get.

Suggestion: A 780Ti will do, or even 290X, but personally, I would suggest a 980. Which has comparable performance compared to 780Ti (most cases) and is the latest generation as well but... it's over the 450 euros bracket, so the 780Ti will hit the limit of the budget. If you want more rooms (in your budget) to breath and still have comparable performance to 780, a 970 would do wonder.

On the red team, you can choose 290X.

If i search for my price range im getting the following cards:

 

- MSI GeForce GTX 780 Ti Gaming 3GB

- Asus GeForce GTX 780 Ti 3GB OC

- Sapphire R9 290X 4GB GDDR5 TRI-X

- Gigabyte GV-N78TOC-3G

Defenetly this card if you can afford it is the clear winner IMHO:

this performs on the level of a GTX 980...you can't go wrong there it's as good as it gets for single GPU.
