Okay so I'm having multiple issues with Prime95, I ran memtest for 1 and a half passes with no error so I dont think its the memory but when I run Prime95 with everything at stock settings (Not overclocked) these happen:

- FATAL ERROR: Rounding was 0.5, expected less than 0.4

- FATAL ERROR: Rounding was 0.484375, expected less than 0.4

- Computer Freezes

- Clock_Watchdog_Timeout (BSOD)

I'm trying to figure out if the CPU is failing or if its because of the Motherboard, but I think its one of the two, or both, my new r9 285 doesnt work in this system either, works in other systems but not this one, I just get a bunch of glitches (http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/226350-motherboard-splash-screen-broken-with-r9-285/#entry3100510) but my 7970 seems to work perfectly in here, and has been for the past 2 years, help would be awesome! My specs are:

AMD FX8350 GPU (Corsair H100)

GA-990FXA-UD7 Rev1.1 Motherboard

G-Skill Sniper 16 gigs Ram (4x4gig Sticks)

AMD Radeon HD 7970

You could try OCCT, it will give you graphs with voltages etc. afterwards, so you can check if the voltage fluctuates heavily or something like that. If that's the case, it is most likely the motherboard. Otherwise the CPU.

I'll try that, I have OCCT I just figured they were both pretty much the same for CPU (OCCT and Prime95). Thanks :) Ill get back to you on that

Weird, it gives me all kinds of options. Try another monitoring software in the dropdown to see if it gives you more results. It should be noted though that for me the occt test crashes in 10 to 20 seconds. I have my 8320 at 1.45 volts in a 970a-ud3p at 15 mins stable in P95 which I find enough but really isn't that good. How long does it take for it to crash in Prime95?

Also noted that it says 61.0 MHz at Original and 6487.6% Overclock. Weird.

Highly doubt that.

As covered in this thread: http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/227126-prime95-rounding-was-05-expected-04/

Remove 2 dimms and see if the rounding problems stop. Rounding is CPU, IMC, or ram related. It has nothing to do with the GPU.
