I dont know if the graphics cards and the other stuff are compatable. Im planning to build my first pc and just want to be sure. Might do some overclocking and add another graphics card in the future. I also dont want it to be to loud.

If you're going to overclock, you need a K SKU processor, not the one you selected.

You can get away with a much smaller power supply. That one's unnecessary.

I'd leave the optical drive out, unless you really need it, and the motherboard already has a LAN port so you don't need a LAN card.

Most people would suggest going with a different SSD. MX100 is a popular choice.

Look through the reviews on this site, anything he rates highly is worth considering. Really great, really in depth reviews.

This is an excellent tool to help you figure out how much power you need.

Don't know if the list was edited or not, but the EVGA 220-G2-0850-XR currently in the list is very good - http://www.jonnyguru.com/modules.php?name=NDReviews&op=Story&reid=377

I don't think that 850W is overkill. It is on the large size of what is needed for a dual SLI GTX 980 system, but not that much if one intends to overclock everything.

@JasonTheHero,

If you want a silent build I would suggest a case designed for quiet operation. Something like the Fractal Design Define R4 or Corsair Obsidan 550D, for example.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.

For 159$ just get the 760T. Its sexy clean and has a huge window to look at. Really makes you work at cable management and tidyness of your case. It will look great once its done. Consider matching parts though.

•  i7 4770k @4.5ghz 1.248v • Noctua NHD14  •  ASUS MAXIMUS VI Hero •  Asus STIRIX 980 Ti •
