Preformance problems with gtx 980

I got my Zotac 980 and when i run games on ultra i get about 1300Mhz Gpu core clock stead of the max (2785) and about 3500Mhz gpu memory clock instead of max( 7010) which makes me 50-130fps on bf4 when my friend with a gtx 780 (same cpu) got 160 fps. it stops at half its potential. Is it because my cpu is bottle necking it? i have a i-5 3470 at 3.2 hz.

i was playing thelf here on ultra and it dips below 60 fps quite a bit

No GPU can achieve a core clock of 2785 so idk where you got that number, as for your memory speeds it's reported in different ways by different software. The software that told you it's running at 3500 is reporting half the speed, you take the number it gives you and you double it to get your effective memory clock.

Just saw that software, it looks janky. Trying use MSI afterburner instead.
