So I have a few questions about the PS4 and I hope you guys can answer.

  • Should I have a 1080p screen for it or should it be a 720p screen?
  • Will it work w/ a hdmi to VGA adapter/cord?
  • With a Turtle Beach Foxtrot headset, can I listen to my PC/talk on my pc and listen to game sounds?
  • If not with that headset, which ones will it work with?
  • If I wanted to, could I use a keyboard and mouse?

This is all for now. :)

Why would you ever want a PS4...

You cant use keyboard and mouse, the gaming experience is horrible, and its overpriced.

And you cant convert HDMI to VGA because HDMI is digital and VGA is analogue. You would need to use an active adapter which will make the experience even more horrible and laggy.

1 - 1080p. most PS4 games are above 720p

2 - yes, but audio will not be carried and you'll need to use a headset. you will need an active adapter which will increase lag and reduce image quality.

3 - I'm not sure

4 - again, not sure

5 - not really. you could use a keymander in some games, but it won't be the same as a PC.

first

It will work with both 1080 and 720 screens 1080 will look better as some games run at that res and the menus run at that res

yes it will work but you need active adapter so expensive

like http://www.allekabels.nl/hdmi-omvormer/1792/1174350/hdmi-naar-vga-omvormer.html

Either screen will work. Most games run in upscaled 1080p so image difference probably won't be that different but use a 1080p one if you can.

I've seen videos and people saying they can but it won't carry audio with just VGA.
Not sure on the heaset and mouse/keyboard stuff cause I've never tried them on a console.

- Majority of PS4 games are 1080p, some are 900p so 1080 would be worth it.

-

- Not fully sure if I know what you're doing here, but you can plug headphones into the PS4 controller to get sound if that helps

There are 2 plugs on the headset. USB for power and microphone, and a 3.5mm jack for the TV out sound.

1. A lot of games are 1080p so it wouldn't hurt.

2. probably not.

3. no

4. to many to list, use google.

5. yes and no, by default no, but if your willing to spend extra money for your enjoyment you could pick up and xim4 keyboard and mouse adapter which works great (the only real good option)
