There is absolutely no reason to get an AMD card with a G-SYNC monitor so that's out of the question. A single GTX 970 can handle 1440p very well if you turn down/off AA and post proc. However to fully use the 144Hz in most games you will need SLI 970 or SLI 980. Your budget will dictate which one you go for ![]()
