Shadow of Mordor FOV

Jamdude

Does anyone know of a way to alter the FOV? It's too narrow and I can't see anything in-game to change it.

Edit: seems this wont be possible due to IG mechanics

Are you referring to the current method of altering the field of view which fixes it at a constant value, interfering with the change in FOV when using the bow?

I haven't had any freezes or errors yet fortunately. I'm using the large texture pack with almost everything on ultra and I don't dip below 60fps.

What "current method" are you referring to? How is this done? I'm not so concerned about the bow, to be honest. The gameplay FOV (active 98% of the time) is far more important to fix.

Is there any way to change the FOV or Camera Distance? 3rd party software? Where's the modding community? I'm sure this game is going to be BIG on that scene. It's potentially the next Skyrim.

Find the floating point value for the FOV in Cheat Engine then alter it and lock it so it doesn't change.  Unfortunately there are quite a few scenes where the game changes the FOV such as when using the bow or zooming in on an enemy captain or even it cutscenes.

The previous posts have already talked about this.  It's literally in the post above yours.
