I am currently using an HDMI connector to display the image for my PC..... Dose this limit the maximum fps I can have. I'm using my Xbox One's Hdmi cable btw.                    I want to be running at 120 and monitor and gpu can do that so I just need to know what i should be using my gpu also has a display port 1.2 but I dont have that kind of monitor.    HELP PLEASE

if you have a 120hz monitor you need to use either dual-link DVI or displayport.

120Hz monitor will not work over HDMI lower then 1.3. HDMI 1.2 will only run at 60Hz.
