Mid range IEM Earphones

Hi Guys!

I'm looking for buying a new set of IEM's, but i can't decide which ones!

Budget: ~150$

Source: Phone or Computer.

Isolation: Not really that crucial, but some would be neat

Music Taste: Very bland, but a lot of rock, pop and sing a song. Some artists could be Arctic Monkeys, The Blue Van(Old school rock), Jason Mraz, Ed Sheeran, Passenger, Coldplay etc etc.

Location: I'm Located in San Diego, so either on Amazon online, or something like BestBuy

Other features: In-line mic would be nice.

I appreciate comfort and it is a crucial factor, i need to be able to wear them for hours without any issues.

Some phones I've been looking at: Shure SE215, VSONIC GR07 (Mk I and II), HIFIMAN RE-400, RHA 750i.

Thanks!

What are you looking to get out of them? A flatter response or something more coloured?

The 215s rock with Rock, but personally I like the sound of the GR07s more. If you're willing to fork up a little more, the SE315s from Shure are best for Rock, bar pretty much none at this price range. They are what I have and everything else can't compare in rock. The 750s are meh in my opinion, and I've never tried the RE-400s.

Um pro 10 from westone are another great option.  @EmoRarity says he likes them more than SE215.

What are the overall differences between the different VSonic GR07's? I see a lot of different models; the standard VSonic GR07, a Bass Edition and a MKII.

I will be taking a closer look at the Westone.

The 315 are going to be too expensive so if i'm going with shure its gonna be the 215.

For tone; i guess it could be a bit to the warmer side(?), but nothing too much. I currently have the Sony MDR-V6 which are quite flat, but the treble can be a bit overwhelming sometimes i think.
