Looking to upgrade my GTX 560ti. What do i get for under $400?

CoolMarquis97

Looking to upgrade my GTX 560ti. What do i get for under $400? As new Graphics Cards are being announced I feel that it is time for me to upgrade. Currently my 560ti can play everything smoothly but i have to play on low-medium settings. My processor is a i5-3570k and i feel that being quipped with a 560ti is just holding back the true power of my computer. What card could I get for under $400 that allows me to play everything 60FPS while playing on High-Ultra settings?

Any and All recommendations are helpful. Thanks!

a HD7950 is in that price bracket, you might be able to find a 7970 around 400$, which probably is the best choice in that price segment.

The 770 is around 450$ if I am not mistaken, and can be beat by a 7970 so I'd go with a 7950 or 7970 depending on the prices ^^

Games like Metro Last Light you won't be able to play at a constant 60FPS on ultra, not even the Titan gets that high ^^

You can get a 660 Ti, 7870, 7950. Both AMD cards come with games and they also tend to perform better than NVIDIA counterparts.

I would highly recommend a 7950, excellent custom designed models are around 310-330$ .

The 7950 is an amazing over-clocker & can match or even outperform a 770/680 once overclocked.

You also get 4 games for free with the card : Crysis 3 , Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon, Bioshock Infinite & Tomb Raider.

That 3GB frame buffer can come in handy if you like to mod your games for extra eye candy like Skyrim & Fallout 3.

These are the three 7950s that I regularly recommend : HIS IceQ X2 , Sapphire Dual-X & MSI Twinfrozr III .

Wait for 8000 series. And see what is available.

Otherwise, get a 7950

well the 770 does come under if you are in the US but here in aus its a minimum of $460 plus postage so it will depend on the region but i would still go for the 7950 and you get games and save money

I'd say a 7950 3GB OC model, or if you can wait, see if the 770 price drops within a few months or get a 760 ti when it releases, if you prefer nVidia.

Wait for the gtx 770 prices to drop or wait for the 760 ti which is coming out very soon. Dont spend to early or you will say crap more then the legal amount.

There's an XFX 7970 on for around $359.99 last time I checked...and it comes with the never settle bundle - I have a 660Ti so you know I'm not a fanboy.
