Slow BIOS startup?

Hello forum, 


Just wanted to ask why I'm experiencing a slow BIOS startup.


It takes about 2-5 minutes to startup, it this caused because of having a raid 0?

Motherboard is Rampage V Extreme.

Peripherals : | MOUSE : Logitech G602 | KEYBOARD: K70 RGB (Cherry MX Brown) | NAS: Synology DS1515+  - WD RED 3TB X 5|ROUTER: AC68U

Sound : | HEADPHONES: Sennheiser HD800 SPEAKERS: B&W CM9 (Front floorstanding) ,  B&W CM Center 2 (Centre) | AV RECEIVER : Denon 3806 | MY X99 BUILD LOG!

Yeah, you will need to format your raid partition and reinstall everything. Hopefully that will fix it.

But this is why you don't do raid, people.

@X1XNobleX1X Check to make sure you have your RAID setup being the only drive the BIOS is looking for.

Yeah, I saw that option in the bios. Should I select it to look only for boot drive?

Yeah, you will need to format your raid partition and reinstall everything. Hopefully that will fix it.

But this is why you don't do raid, people.

It's just been freshly installed.

Yeah, disable any other drive. That's what I do and I only see my BIOS screen for a second.
