Hello im planning to build a pc.

For recording gameplays at very high bit rate from approx 20 mina to 1 hour each.

I want to know if its possible for a Asus ROG Maximus VII Formula and a 4790k to run 2 raid 0 of 128gb ssds and a Seagate barracuda 2 tb drive all in SATA 3 6gb/s ports.

Some may ask why I want 2 raid 0 arrays.

Because one array of raid 0 I want it for the os, applications and favorite games. And the other raid 0 array just to handle the gameplay recording at the highest possible bit rate so I can get the most butter Smooth videos. I will thank your answer!

Why raid 0 for sdd?You are not going to get any noticeable improvement. And if you want to record or stream games get something from avermedia. As for recording as far as i know is more video demanding

Beware of him that is slow to anger; for when it is long coming, it is the stronger when it comes, and the longer kept. Abused patience turns to fury.

Unless you're recording 4k @60Hz video, a single SSD will be more than enough.

you dont need raid 0 for OS, with a single ssd it boots so fast you wont really notice the difference when slapping a second one in raid, you dont need a raid array for handleing video, you just need a good video editing software (i love adobe aftereffect) and a core i7 is pretty beast at rendering video because of hyperthreading.'

As for the original question yes, but make sure the motherboard is z97 chipset, or it wont work with the 4790k, only the 4770k
